ROLE OVERVIEW

The Cost Control Associate will drive the cost control effort of Hydrogen Business Unit of low to high complexity project packages and supports the Head of Commercial Unit on the preparation of cost analysis, budget reports as well as project cost monitoring of all projects, working effectively with internal departments, external stakeholders and other members of the Hydrogen Business Unit. KEY RESPONSBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

• Preparation of budget report and presentation for CAPEX/OPEX (Mobility/HTC, HIDC Ops and others)
• Coordination with Central Finance Unit
• Align on project budget and cost
• Contracts/POs payment execution in coordination with Proponent, Account Payable, and other stakeholders.
• Support the End User/Proponent and prepare Purchase Requisition Forms.
• Act as a Key User and issue SAP Purchase Requisitions (PR).
• Oversee the invoice workflow within SAP S/4 HANA and provide assistance to the End User/Proponent and Contract Manager in reviewing and approving invoices.
• Where required, provide support to the End User/Proponent and Contract Manager in monitoring supplier performance to ensure targets are met and identify ways to improve the supply chain process with suppliers.
• Manage budgets, control and optimize cost and productivity, minimize operations expenses, and minimize processing time.
• Preparation of financial data and analysis
• Provide cost analysis for all Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) commitments
• Conduct a thorough cost analysis for all OpEx and CAPEX budget
• Preparation and update of monthly accruals to be submitted to NEOM Central Finance
• Update monthly forecast for both OpEx and CAPEX budget
• Review and validate all Contractor’s service entry sheet (SES) and invoices
• Organize and track all Supplier’s payments
• Liaise with NEOM Account Payable team to process Supplier’s payment on time

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Min 5 years of Cost control related experience
• SAP Hanna and SAP Ariba min 4 years
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Expert knowledge of cost management, processes, activities, and trends Qualifications
• Fluency in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related areas (Business, Supply Chain, Project Management)
